Karen Moore

Karen Moore’s current role is Assistant Secretary, International Legal Assistance, Australian Attorney-General’s Department. ILA oversees AGD’s Asia Pacific international development work and international strategy, as well as managing its Pacific law and justice development program. 

She was the Law and Justice Team Leader for Australia’s Strongim Gavman Program in PNG from 2012-2015, and prior to this, managed various Branches in the Attorney-General’s Department, dealing issues ranging from the legal profession, family law, the judiciary, administrative law, access to justice and private international law. 

Karen has also worked as a registrar of the Federal Court and in private practice.
